Recently Ever-so-Sexy added the European brand Anais to their line up and already there are some items in the collection that are racing ahead on sales.  Lauren, a red babydoll, is one of these.  A stunning flame red chiffon nightie with front opening that is secured with a black satin ribbon.  The bust is red lace and has black embroidered detail along the edge.  The set is completed with ruffle style thong - so delicate, femine and sexy.

Sumptuous Silk Lingerie Designs

There is no other way to describe the new collection from Diane Rubach than sumptuous.

Those in the know will recognise Diane as the designer behind Diki, the long established nightwear and lingerie brand based in the UK that specialises in silk, made to measure, garments from UK size 8 to 30. In Diane's own words, the new collection has been a long time coming. Her last collection was released in 2008. But the wait was certainly worthwhile.

There are five "stories" or ranges, each with their own distinctive twist but the theme that runs through the entire collection is one of glamour and luxury.  Caroline is probably the least sophisticated but only because of the fresh and almost youthful nature of the colour - a warm coral pink coupled with matching embroidered lace. This contracts with the only pale offering in the collection, Giselle, which is made from the palest of pale shell pink and rich dark chocolate lace embroidered in pink and fawn.  The darkest offering is Veronique - a luscious dark raspberry purple silk combined with embroidered dark chocolate lace. For dramatic impact the vibrant scarlet silk with black floral embroidered lace of Carmen would be hard to beat and for breath-taking beauty there is Christelle. A mix of fuchsia pinks silk and sheer black lace with embroidered floral pattern. New Designs from Diki

We were talking today with Diane Rubach, the designer for the Diki range of luxury silk lingerie.  A new collection is due out very soon and we are very excited to see the new designs.  Diane says that she thinks it is her best collection yet.  Interestingly, the new collection does not contain any full length nightdresses (although they can be made at special requestion).  This got us to thinking that maybe people don't want to buy long nightdresses any more.  So give us your feedback.  Do you prefer to sleep in something short?

Axami Lingerie Back with Ever-so-Sexy

Back in 2006 Axami was one of the brands that Ever-so-Sexy decided to launch with.  Since then many new lingerie brands have been included in what is now a very large and broad range of lingerie. And now Axami is back!

The team at Ever-so-Sexy said they just could not resist the gorgeous designs any longer.  Initially 4 styles are on offer but it is expected that most if not all the Axami range will be available.

Preview Fall Winter Designs from Coemi

Customers of Ever-so-Sexy will know that Coemi is one of their top brands, offering luxurious satin nightwear. Four designs from the fall/winter collection are now available to see on site.

Until now the all time best seller was a long nightgown in green satin with contrasting black lace but the team at Ever-so-Sexy think they may have the rival in this year's collection. A sumptuous red wine coloured satin nightgown with red lace inset that runs from bust to hem.  But even they are divided in their opinion with half the team preferring this gorgeous mauve satin and lace chemise (image).

Traditional Corsets are Back

We are re-introducing traditional corsets from Vollers. Each corset is front fastening with back lacing. The different designs offer options to suit everyone. There are long body corsets and also corsets that have more generous hip allowance that will make you look really voluptuous.

When buying a traditional corset you should select a waist measurment that is up to 4 inches less than your actual measurement. How far you go depends on how much you want to cinch your waist. But remember you have to breath and never exceed the minus 4 off your waist measurement.

The Vollers range offers traditional corset designs for all occasions. At the moment there are three styles on the site - a cocktail corset in black which is covered in sequins and would be perfect to wear as part of an evening outfit. Antibacterial Underwear - Is it For You?

We were recently notified by a supplier that they have introduced a range of antibacterial lingerie.  At first we thought it might be an April Fool joke sent a little early as the news of this new line arrived in our in box on the 31st March.  But further investigation proved that it was a genuine product.  So then came the questions in our office... Was antibacterial underwear a good thing or not?  Would customers want to buy it and what exactly are the benefits of antibacterial underwear and just how does it work?  We knew already it had something to do with silver ions included in the fabric used for the underwear and further online investigation gave us the information that silver has anti-bacterial properties and that these work to stop the bacteria that reacts with perspiration from growing.  The theory is that if you live or work in a hot environment wearing antibacterial underwear won't stop you sweating but it will stop the bacteria that are naturally present on your skin from growing and reacting with your perspiration and creating a bad smell.  So that answered the what and how but we still remain uncertain on the "would customers buy it" question.  Why not let us know.  Visit: www.ever-so-sexy.com or leave a comment here on the blog.
